Academic Program Manager Job Summary

Manages academic program operations and assists with enrollment or other similar functions for assigned college, campus, or department. Coordinates training and development for faculty and advisers and provides academic advising to assigned students. Coordinates research within the department as well as recruitment activities.

Essential Functions

The incumbent must have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented and have knowledge of graduate program requirements in addition to University policies. Must be able to accurately use a computer using word, excel and email. The incumbent must have outstanding communication skills written and verbal. Must have the ability to use various office equipment such as a telephone, copier, Mac and PC computers. The ability to keep and maintain records is required.

Physical Effort

Generally sedentary but must have the ability to maneuver around the building and around campus.
