Reference #: 2022209 The Student Academic Success Center team focuses on creating spaces for students to engage in their coursework and approach to learning. Through academic coaching, tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, effective communication strategies, the Tartan Scholars program, accommodations for students with disabilities, and language support for multilingual learners, we offer a wide variety of opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of who they are as a learner, communicator and, ultimately, scholar. The Administrative Assistant for Disability Resources Logistics plays a vital role in providing essential administrative support to the reduced distraction testing center and Disability Resources. Supervised by the Director of Disability Resources, the role is integral to maintaining a student-focused, fast-paced, welcoming, and inclusive environment.

This position's work schedule will be 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.

Core responsibilities include: Testing Center Operations- including among others, providing reception coverage as needed; coordinating the comprehensive schedule and assignment of proctored exams for students with related accommodations, ensuring confidentiality; overseeing exam preparation, proctoring, collection and pick-up; communicating with faculty and actively monitoring proctoring-related communications. Testing Center Administrative Duties- including among others, managing supply inventory and ordering; coordinating sign language interpreting, captioning schedules and video captioning processing; invoice processing in coordination with the Success Center Operations team; managing requests for accessible course materials; supporting the Director of Disability Resources with document, form, slide deck preparation and other administrative tasks; overseeing camera management software; maintaining records and data management of confidential materials, case notes, and exam materials in the web-based system; coordinating facility needs of the testing center. Student Academic Success Center and Campus Engagement- Participation in all team meetings, trainings, workshops, and representing Disability Resources and/or the Success Center at campus events and activities Service to the University- Participation and volunteering for university wide events and activities. Participate in training, workshops, committee involvement, and general campus activities.

Computer proficiency including MS office, Adobe Pro and Google Suite

Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED Years of experience: 1-3 years of administrative support experience; administration support experience in a higher education environment or rehabilitation services environment is preferred A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.

This is a full-time 37.5 hours/week),non-exempt position Typical Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.
