Robert Half Billing Clerk in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering an opportunity for a Billing Clerk to join our team in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer records, processing customer credit applications, resolving customer inquiries, and monitoring customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting clients with billing and payment issues and ensuring efficient communication
• Overseeing the disbursement of retainer funds and sending out correspondence to clients
• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of pre-bills, including editing and adding time
• Preparing and submitting invoices either electronically or by mail
• Handling the editing and generation of invoices for electronic billing systems such as TyMetrix 360, LegalX, BottomLine Technologies, Mitratech, and CounselLink
• Carrying out conflict checks and opening files
• Performing other related duties as assigned
• Proficiently using accounting software systems, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, and About Time for various accounting functions
• Responsible for answering inbound calls and maintaining accounts payable and receivable
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of ProLaw, Elite, Tymetrix, and Counsellink systems. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Billing Clerk or in a relevant role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential.
• Skills in Computerized Billing are necessary.
• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM and Epic Software is preferred.
• Knowledge of About Time is beneficial.
• Experience with Accounting Functions is needed.
• Understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial.
• Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently.
• Proficiency in ProLaw, Elite, Tymetrix, and Counsellink is a plus.
• Must have strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
