Clinical Research Assistant

 

This role will conduct research assessments and procedures. Recruit, screen, and enroll eligible participant in studies; escort participants to research sites, and update databases for registry assessments and clinical trial forms.

Job Duties Include:

Conduct and support experimental research, focusing on immunotherapy and other modulatory strategies for GI cancers.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and execute research projects.

Analyze and interpret data, ensuring rigorous and reproducible results.

Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements in GI oncology and immunotherapy.

Contribute to the writing of research proposals, grant applications, and scientific publications.

Coordinate GI Cancer think tank research meetings (1-2 meetings per month).

Present findings at internal meetings and national/international conferences.

Job Summary

Essential Functions

The candidate should be highly organized and analytical. Communication skills both orally and written must be exceptional. The ability to continue learning and improving one's own skills.

Physical Effort

Light -- Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
