Title: Clinical Research Finance Manager

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Type: Direct-hire if local; 12+month for remote candidates

Salary: $55,000 to $80,000* all based on experience

Overview:

Our client, a newly formed department at a prestigious research university, is seeking a Senior Post Award Analyst. This role demands expertise in financial management within a clinical trials setting, a strong background in research accounting, and a keen understanding of compliance and auditing. Responsibilities:

• Provide expert management of financial aspects of clinical trials post-award.

• Liaise with SPA and research accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

• Run detailed financial reports on clinical trials, focusing on budget adherence and expenditure monitoring.

• Oversee and ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to clinical research billing.

• Conduct audits and reviews to maintain compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.

  Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and reporting, with a focus on clinical research or healthcare.

• Strong understanding of clinical research billing compliance and regulations.

• Advanced analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.

• High proficiency in financial software and adaptability to new technologies.
