Job Title: Diagnostic Technologist (X-Ray)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15219

Type: Direct Hire

Shift: Day, night, weekends and on-call responsibility

Overview:

Our client is an esteemed medical facility is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist to demonstrate advanced level of knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care as defined by the most up to day protocols and procedures.. Responsibilities:

• Performs or assists Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.

• Performs all job responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I.

• Demonstrates competency of specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyzes data promptly. Performs electrocardiograms and lab draw functions if applicable.

• Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates advanced level of knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging by providing patient care as defined by the most up to day protocols and procedures.

Assist with the training of staff and student technologists

• Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team.

• Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.

• Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development.

Qualifications:

• A recent graduate from ARRT approved school

• For a Diagnostic Advance level role must have at least 2 years of Diagnostic experience is required

• Must obtain MR registry within 18 months of hire

• CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire

• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

• Act 33 with renewal

• Act 34 with renewal

• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
