Job Summary

Our organization strongly believes that every individual deserves the opportunity to achieve their fullest potential.  At the present time, we are looking for an experienced individual to fill the role of Direct Support Worker. 

The right candidate will be responsible for providing compassionate care and assistance to persons with intellectual disabilities.  If you have prior experience working with intellectual disabilities adults in a direct are role we encourage you to apply to this position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision and guidance for Clients during ISP skills building activities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with hygiene if applicable. 
• Develop a rapport with Clients and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship. 
• Update clients case notes on a daily basis. 

Skills:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 0+ years experience providing direct care to patients with intellectual and development disabilities is a plus.
• Valid drivers license.
• Current vehicle registrations and insurance.
• Act 34 Clearance.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, Interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.
