Director of Executive Administrative Operations

 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

HUMAN RESOURCES (30%): Lead HR staff and strategic HR initiatives; Comply with OHR requirements and hiring processes, ensuring transparency; Assist FM departments and the FM HR liaisons with resolving issues that need elevated; On behalf of the Vice Chancellor, implement the Facilities Culture Action Plan; Provide monthly summary of key HR accomplishments, actions and outstanding issues.

ADMINISTRATION (30%): Serve as a Strategic Advisor, reporting directly to the Vice Chancellor; Work with team to prepare monthly and annual reports for the Responsibility Center; Assist in maintaining "course and speed" on a variety of Responsibility Center-Level strategic initiatives; Assist in developing communications materials as needed.

CAMPUS CONDITION (30%): Work with the Assistant Vice Chancellor, the Asset Manager, and key Operations & Maintenance leaders across FM to quantify and clearly present the annual condition of facilities using Condition Assessment and Computerized Maintenance Management reports; Assess reports for completeness and general accuracy; Assist in how the Long-Range Maintenance Plan is formatted; presented and updated.

Job Summary

Serves as an operational and strategic aid for senior management and for implementation of overarching organizational initiatives and objectives. Handles the oversight of large and complex projects and scenarios that serve as major change fulcrums. Acts as a visible top-level leader and represents the Vice Chancellor or other executive leadership.

Essential Functions

Facilities Management (FM) is seeking a qualified Director of Executive Administrative Operations to assist the Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management with high-level strategic projects, and to oversee the HR function for the Responsibility Center.

Physical Effort

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods and able to travel to various locations on campus.
