Actalent Electrical Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are currently hiring an Electrical Engineer to support a reputable A&E firm with a significant presence in the Midwest, including offices in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. The firm focuses on publicly funded projects, including jails, correctional facilities, municipality buildings, first responder buildings, fire stations, police stations, distribution centers, and postal services. They also have a large contract with the USPS for MEP design on various projects.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a team managing projects across Ohio, Michigan, and Florida. Your main responsibility will be to project manage (PM) for various clients, oversee the production of drawings, and ensure quality control of documents produced by less experienced designers/drafters. The firm uses Revit for all drawings, and you will need to design within Revit when necessary, as well as assist other MEP teams throughout the Midwest. Travel to client sites will be required, where you will interface with customers, provide solutions to project issues, and address any questions or concerns.

This is a consulting role with the potential to transition to a direct employee after 9 months. The position is 100% remote for qualified individuals located in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, or a major city in the Midwest.
