Electrical Engineer

We are seeking innovative and driven Electrical Engineers to join our growing team in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will be responsible for performing various tasks related to electrical design including, engineering calculations, equipment selections, power distribution, lighting and security systems. You will work under the direction of a Professional Engineer to perform other design related tasks. This role offers growth opportunities as you become responsible for broader aspects of Electrical Engineering and design, while gaining experience towards a PE license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical system design using AutoCAD/Revit software applications.

  • Assist with lighting, power and signal calculations.

  • Design and document lighting, power, security and telecom systems.

  • Assist with power studies such as Arc Flash studies using SKM Power Tools.

  • Travel to project sites to survey existing conditions.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project team members.

  • Work with clients, vendors and contractors on a limited basis.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Electrical/Lighting.

  • FE/EIT Certification is preferred.

  • 1+ years of related experience.

  • Experience with AutoCAD/Revit software platforms.

  • Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Occasional travel may be required.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.

  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
