KTA-Tator, Inc. Entry Level Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We have a new, full-time opening for an Entry Level Assistant Project Manager in our Corporate Office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Working with other managers and field coating inspection personnel, this entry level professional will help us grow our employee-owned company by successfully managing coating inspection projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and pursuing and developing new business opportunities.

This challenging position requires the ability to balance and prioritize the demands of multiple clients and projects.  Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the department in implementing business development plans, including, but not limited to, contacting prospective clients and make site visits with Project Managers;

  • Preparing proposals, including scope of services and project cost estimates/budgets; and

  • Coordinating job activities with the contractors, writing and editing reports, and communicating project progress and development to the clients.

Position Requirements:

  • A B.S. degree in Engineering or similar discipline.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks independently with excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

  • Physical Requirements: Close, distance, and depth vision and ability to adjust focus; ability to work in confined spaces and walk on uneven terrain, climb ladders and high structures (150 ft. or more), hear, wear a respirator, and safely lift 25 pounds; and willingness to travel (predominantly in the tri-state area) and work outside (including inclement weather).
