POSITION SUMMARY

As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the success of the Matthews Architectural Products business. You will shape and execute commercial strategies, foster strong customer relationships, and ensure financial success. This pivotal role demands an individual who can collaborate closely with operations leadership and cross-functional teams to align business objectives with the overall strategic plan to ensure our continued industry leadership.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Leadership: Lead the development and execution of commercial strategies to drive growth and success. Initiate and manage key customer relationships and business partnerships to ensure sustained growth.

Operational Collaboration: Work closely with operations leadership to optimize costs and improve productivity, ensuring alignment with commercial goals.

Collaborative Approach: Lead, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams across regions, divisions, and departments, ensuring unified efforts towards common objectives.

Financial Acumen: Analyze and manage financial reports, ensuring strategic and profit plans are achieved. Lead annual budget and three-year strategic plan development.

Innovative Planning: Spearhead product and service development projects, demonstrating a keen ey for market opportunities and industry trends.

Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team with a focus on achieving commercial success. Lead by example to achieve organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.

Experience: 8+ years of progressive Commercial Management experience; 5+ years in a leadership role.

Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop collaborative relationships.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence peers and management.

Operational and Commercial Focus: Strong background in driving both operational efficiency and commercial success.
