Job Title: Lead Test Engineer (Medical Device)

Job location: Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid Tue, Wed, Thurs)

Job description:

Capgemini is seeking a dedicated Lead Test Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers the outstanding opportunity to successfully lead all aspects of the detailed testing of elite medical devices. Your hardworking nature and consistent record in engineering will help us compete at the highest levels.

Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with collaborators and customers to analyze requirements and coordinate efforts

  • Lead end-to-end product verification and validation using both manual and automated techniques

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of medical devices, ensuring compliance with FDA regulatory standards

  • Track issues and defects, performing rigorous impact analysis and reporting

  • Facilitate effective onshore-offshore coordination to ensure seamless project delivery

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

  • 9 years of experience in test engineering including 3 years as a Lead test engineer

  • 3 years of experience in medical device domain

  • Experience with Manual Test Development using cockpit and windchill

  • Experience with test project planning using Jira project management tool

  • Experience with manual and automated test execution

  • Experience with user story, requirement analysis (using Jira and cockpit)

  • Defect reporting, re-verification experience using Jira

Nice to have:

  • scripting in python and selenium
