Whitman, Requardt and Associates, LLP Mid-Level Electrical Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join us in our Pittsburgh, PA location.  The ideal candidate will have broad engineering comprehension in the design and construction of complex building systems for commercial, institutional and industrial facilities, including mission critical facilities and LEED certified buildings or sustainable buildings. 

The engineer shall have exceptional communication skills, including writing and speaking. The engineer must excel at collaboration with clients and the project team, including internal AE and sub-consultants. 

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include developing fee proposals, managing project budgets, and directing project teams. The engineer shall be able to lead medium to large projects and oversee and mentor younger engineers.

Requirements:

Applicants must possess the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE) required
  • Professional Engineer license* *preferred
  • LEED BD+C preferred 
  • 11-15 years of experience as lead engineer/ Project manager
  • Proficient in ETAP or SKM
  • Experience with Revit and the design of lighting and power systems for government, military, commercial, industrial, municipal and institutional facilities
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Possession of, or the ability to obtain, government TS/SCI clearance may be required
