The candidate will be responsible for the coordination of research under the direction of Dr. Kevin Contrera. Implementation of clinical trials will include laboratory sample collection, patient consenting, collection of measures, and database management. Supervision of numerous concomitant studies will require the timely execution of various surveys, blood draws, and appointments. The incumbent is expected to serve as a lead investigator on a series of manuscripts, ranging from systematic reviews to institutional analysis and national database analysis. They will also support other trainees research under my oversight. In both regards, the candidate will have significant involvement in data interpretation and subsequent figure and manuscript preparation/submission. This will require them to maneuver sometimes complex institutional systems to effectively execute research. Working closely with medical students, residents, and fellows, they will serve as the point person for the conduction of research and contribute to the overall culture and production of the research team.

The candidate must have a Ph.D., MD, or equivalent degree in a science-related field. Experience in a laboratory is preferred.
