Our CCS business is comprised of a comprehensive consumables portfolio that complements our Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (CMD) instrument businesses offering our customers both product choice and chemistry innovation in: Sample Handling, Sample Preparation, LC Columns & Accessories and GC Columns & Accessories. Our consumables serve a wide-range of markets, offering solutions for our pharmaceutical, food and beverage, forensic and toxicology, proteomics, clinical, and environmental customers.

How will you make an impact:

Strong technical support is a key differentiator in the marketplace. You will enable our customer’s success by supporting them to get the best from our products and efficiently resolve problems! By investigating and understanding the cause of product issues you will help to drive continuous improvement and identify areas for innovation

What will you do:

  • Provide international support and troubleshoot issues, optimize methods, and resolve technical problems of our analytical instrumentation

  • Investigate reported product failures and preform analysis to resolve cause of the problem

  • Work with quality engineers and other functions to ensure identified failures are raised for appropriate action

  • Provide efficient communication of field feedback to all relevant departments in order to continuously improve our product quality

  • Participate in Application Requests, Product Improvement & Critical issue Calls and technical trainings.

How will you get here:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field with a background in chemistry, biochemistry preferred; along with 4+ years of work experience

  • Master's degree is preferred.

  • Experience in the use of HPLC instrumentation and consumables

  • Experience troubleshooting Chromatography instruments, columns and application issues

  • Experience in method development and optimization of HPLC or Nano LC applications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, structured working style and attention to detail

  • Self-confidence and excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Affinity to technical contexts, combined with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

  • Ability to prioritize, and work in a dynamic and evolving environment

  • Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion within agreed timelines

  • Ability to work optimally in a team environment

  • Substantial experiences in analytical technology, ideally HPLC, as a user, service technician or in a support role

  • Hands-on experience with (low flow) LC/MS systems and software (e.g. Chromeleon or SII
