Robert Half Project Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the construction/manufacturing industry, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, managing communications, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of projects, including issuing purchase orders and ensuring the implementation of change orders.

• Handle and expedite responses to phone calls and emails, ensuring detail oriented communication within 24 hours.

• Compile, maintain, and manage comprehensive project-related documentation, plans, and reports.

• Foster and maintain productive working relationships with coworkers, factory representatives, subcontractors, and installers.

• Monitor factory lead times, site schedules, and project issues, and update the team and management accordingly.

• Attend and contribute to staff meetings as required.

• Recognize and escalate issues to management or sales team when necessary.

• Comply with company guidelines for electronic filing and naming conventions, ensuring all pertinent information is correctly filed.

Requirements

• No minimum years of experience required

• Must possess skills in managing budget processes

• Strong communication skills are essential

• Experience or knowledge in construction is required

• Ability to handle purchase orders effectively

• Familiarity with lead times and how to manage them

• Capable of managing a project plan

• Proficient in project planning
