Robert Half Quality Assurance Specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Mortgage Companies industry. This role is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for processing and verifying documents, ensuring lender specifications are met, and maintaining our internal systems. You will also address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process incoming packages for the Quality Assurance Review Team

• Organize closed loan packages in accordance with lender-specific rules

• Efficiently scan and upload stacked closed loan packages into the Vinca system and push them to the Quality Assurance Review Queue

• Verify and process checks received based on the Consumer Disclosure document

• Attach executed documents to the appropriate orders in the system

• Ensure all closed loan packages meet lender specifications before shipping

• Update the operational system with the correct status and notes for all audit resolution tasks in process

• Respond to and resolve general internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Resolve problem files and understand when it is appropriate to elevate issues to a Manager and/or Supervisor.

This role requires skills in Database, EO/IR systems, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Auditing, Call Center Customer Service, Customer Service, Mortgage Closing, and Mortgage Documents. Requirements • Proficiency in Database management and EO/IR systems

• Strong understanding and experience in AB Testing

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies

• Prior experience in Auditing, preferably within the mortgage industry

• Experience in a Call Center Customer Service role

• Excellent Customer Service skills and ability to communicate effectively

• Understanding of Mortgage Closing procedures

• Familiarity with Mortgage Documents and their proper handling

• Ability to work independently and within a team environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to the role.
