Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Remote Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer/Systems Programmer (z/OS) for a health-tech subsidiary of a nationwide Healthcare organization. This person will be responsible for installation of Mainframe operating systems, and will also conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems impacting IT infrastructure. Additionally, this Engineer will assure compliance to required standards, and have a thorough understanding of SMP/e, SMF Records and Unix System Services. They will also conduct change inspections, and determine associated risks and readiness for implementations.

Skills and Requirements

• 7+ years' hands-on z/OS experience

• Experience with z/OS installation

• Understanding of SMP/e and SMF Records

• Experience leading root-cause analysis processes

• Understanding of Unix System Services - Experience working in a healthcare environment null
