We are looking for a Systems Engineer to participate in system definition through translation of customer needs into product requirements, system architecture development and system-level verification and validation planning. You will bring clear sense of urgency and demonstrated track record of driving innovation leading to the introduction of new technologies in the marketplace. This role serve as the interface between Healthcare Professionals, Marketing representatives, and Engineering teams to ensure technical excellence of product designs.

What will you be doing? Perform system engineering and requirements management duties as part of cross-functional project teams including: Develop and maintain requirement development for new features and feature upgrades Maintain traceability between requirements and from requirements to test activities Participate in system architecture and design activities Participate in verification and validation planning Participate in Design Validation activities Support pre-clinical and clinical evaluations Remain current with the knowledge and practice of systems engineering and requirements management.

What will you need to be successful? Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or science in fields of Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering or equivalent; Graduate degree preferred 2+ years experience in systems engineering and requirements management with a bachelor's degree or 1 year of applicable experience with master's degree. A good understanding of design control and/or development of products in a regulated medical device industry. Track record of successfully bringing products from concept to market on schedule & within budget is preferred. Experience in computer assisted surgery or robotics preferred. Understanding of hardware-software systems, requirements levelling, and interface requirements Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with applicable FDA regulations and company operating procedures, processes, policies and tasks Competency using requirements management tools, e.g. Cognition Cockpit, DOORS, JAMA, etc.., work management tools (e.g. Jira), processing tools. (e.g. Word, Libre Office, etc..)
