Broadcom's Mainframe Infrastructure team is focused on creating development pipelines that span the entire range of development activities, ranging from coding support tools through build, test and delivery. Our goal is to provide guidance, tools, and services to product development teams in order to speed up the development process. This is a hands-on position with opportunities to have impact across the entire division.

Who You Are We are looking for people that have an intimate understanding of the structured software development and test processes, either by being a member of a R&D team, or closely working with such teams. You are highly technical yet able to communicate your ideas clearly. You are a good listener and able to integrate others ideas to establish a way forward.

What You'll Do

Work across the division to define, implement, and maintain continuous integration and deployment systems that support our global development organization

Create automated deployment infrastructures to support functional, security, performance, and robustness testing of our product portfolio

Integrate build systems into our corporate product delivery mechanisms

Mentor product teams on best practices to achieve high performance value delivery pipelines

What You Need

IBM Mainframe experience

Extensive programming background with a broad number of languages such as Groovy, Python, Bash, SQL

Experience with supporting build systems (e.g., Jenkins), SCM systems (e.g., GIT), repositories (e.g., Artifactory), containers (e.g., Docker) and virtual machines (e.g., VMWare)

Experience with software test automation strategies and frameworks for different types of software tests.

Awareness of modern software security standards as it pertains to the development lifecycle.

Overall experience: Bachelor's and 8+ years of related experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of related experience, or Ph.D. and 3+ years of related experience required This position is open for multiple US locations including: Pittsburgh PA, Lisle IL, and Melville NY

Additional Job Description: Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000- $171,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
