As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.

Hatch is currently seeking students local to the Pittsburgh area for an IT Service Desk Intern for our Pittsburgh, PA office. This internship opportunity is for an in-office, full-time 40 hours/week internship during Summer 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT Support to Hatch Employees including

  • Hardware Support for Desktop PC's

  • Software Support for Desktop PC's

  • Rebuilding and Reconfiguration of PC’s

  • Application Support for MS Office Suite

  • Operate Help Desk and provide over the phone support

    Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an Associates of Science Degree or Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair all forms of PC related problems

  • Well-developed communication both written and oral skills

  • Ability to function well in a team environment

  • Strong customer focus

  • Willingness to learn and undertake formal qualifications

  • Good people/negotiation skills

  • Any Microsoft Certification

  • A+ Certification

  • Any previous experience with Computer Support or Administration

  • Customer related skills experience

  • Perform assignments related to your sector

  • Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects

  • Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications

  • Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects

  • Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
