KDKA-TV has an opening for a Tech Specialist in the TV Engineering Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

• A working knowledge of Television Station Operations.

• RF knowledge for satellite, microwave, and main transmission, encoding, and decoding formats and principles, equipment installation, configuration and repair, and other duties as assigned.

• This includes Over-the-Air and Online Properties.

• Collaborate with other members of the Engineering Team on project planning and execution.

• Customer Service to other groups, including optimally and quickly solving and correcting issues.

• Be able to multi-task to accomplish multiple projects at one time.

• All aspects of this position require heavy computer knowledge.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Broadcast Television Station Engineering.

• A college degree is helpful, but not required.
