Job Summary

To perform Evaluation, functional testing, basic troubleshooting, and service new or used medical devices according to procedure with high quality standards, within time constraints, and while in a positive, team oriented manner. Must meet or exceed Technician I qualifications.

Essential Functions

  • Analyze and test devices, components, and subassemblies to ensure product functionality and quality.

  • Perform complex and non-routine test procedures.

  • Isolates and debugs circuits and assemblies.

  • Records and analyzes test data and prepares reports.

  • Works in conjunction with the engineering group to solve complex problems.

  • Operates oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, test fixtures and understands their use and function.

  • Works under limited supervision.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • 2-year technical degree in electronics related field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience required

  • Trained and signe off on at least two Advanced lines preferred or equivalent work experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Be well organized and able to multitask.

  • Able to sit and work for 8 to 10 hours with occasional breaks and with occasional periods of moving, may occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity to manipulate small components, use hand tools, and perform light industrial work.
