We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President II to join our Regulatory Oversight Management team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA - Hybrid. You'll make an impact in the following ways: This position provides analytic support for the remediation of derivatives regulatory reporting at the bank and supports the implementation of regulatory reporting changes. Perform analysis of various performance metrics and control reports, experience generating executive level MI. Work to use available tools to automate reporting requirements. Comfortable generating different views of MI data on the fly. Thorough knowledge of Financial Services rules and regulations, particularly derivatives transaction reporting. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability, and strong oral and written communication skills. Must be comfortable supervising small teams and projects and develop solutions for regulatory oversight management issues. Analyzes existing legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices for first line of defense compliance requirements. Helps businesses develop procedures to meet compliance requirements. Provide guidance and training to entry-level employees. Supports complex projects and provides insight on interpretation of regulations. To be successful, we're seeking interest in the follow areas: Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 5 - 7 years of total work experience preferred. Regulatory Knowledge Broad knowledge of global regulations for swap dealer derivatives transaction reporting in North America, EMEA and APAC, and the ability to learn new regulations quickly and recognize how reporting issues have global overlap across jurisdictions.  Familiarity with TRACE, MSRB, CAT reporting and performance metrics a plus. Systems Knowledge Understanding of common order management systems for booking FX, Interest Rate, Fixed Income and Equity derivatives, such as Wall Street Systems, Summit, Murex, Bloomberg etc and their underlying data structures. Software/Skills SQL knowledge and an understanding of database structure is needed.  Use of SQL Server Management Studio to query MS SQL Server databases, including to parse XML and json messages into usable data will be needed to work with our regulatory data hub. Experience using Alteryx to analyze data alone or in conjunction with BI software such as PowerBI to create fully automated reporting. Advanced Excel knowledge including the use of PowerQuery and VBA macros. Use of PowerPoint to create presentations and an understanding of effective visual communications. Ability to write business requirements documentation for regulatory reporting changes and management reporting builds. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
