Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk based in Plainfield, Illinois. This role resides in the telecom industry and involves managing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. The workplace environment is highly collaborative and the role is essential to the efficient operation of the accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Handling daily transactions and recording Accounts Payable (AP) data

• Reconciling the AP ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted

• Ensuring timely payment of invoices

• Monitoring Accounts Payable and generating reports related to AP status

• Supporting the Accounting department with functions including payable, inventory, and reporting

• Developing a standard operating procedure to standardize the Accounts Payable process

• Utilizing software such as Oracle, SAP, and QuickBooks for various tasks

• Performing data entry and invoice processing tasks

• Using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation

• Balancing multiple responsibilities and adapting to changing priorities Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform Check Runs

• Expertise in Coding Invoices

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks
