JPMorgan Chase Operations Lead, VP - Corporate Third Party Continuous Monitoring in Plano, Texas

JPMorgan Chase's (JPMC) Corporate Third Party Oversight (CTPO) Program is a function within Global Supplier Services, responsible for developing, deploying and overseeing the framework that drives the effective use of suppliers to accomplish strategic goals. The CTPO Program covers oversight for both external Third-Party suppliers (TPO) and internal Intra-Affiliate (IAO) services and also includes Supplier Assurance Services (SAS) Governance and Risk Design. The CTPO Program is responsible for building Program awareness across the firm and ensuring consistency globally across all Lines of Business (LOBs) and Corporate Functions (CFs) including the understanding of outsourcing regulatory requirements and periodic updates to regulators on the CTPO Program.

As an Operations Lead, in Corporate Third Party Oversight's Third Party Continuous Monitoring team, you will develop, maintain, and lead supply chain risk operations to identify and mitigate third party risk across the firm. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders within governance, risk and controls, and product teams to cooperatively develop framework and risk mitigation pathways for complex risks identified across JPMC third parties. This role is key in developing CTPO's newly developed Third Party Continuous Monitoring (TPCM) initiative - you will play a key role in operationalizing, documenting, and providing updates to CTPO leadership in line with the development of the initiative.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with business units and leaders to ensure the Third Party Continuous Monitoring (TPCM) operations capability continuously fulfills business requirements

  • Mature tactical operations capabilities in order to provide granular visibility on supply chain risk and enable effective risk mitigation steps by stakeholders

  • Lead the execution of Third Party Continuous Monitoring operations and partner with teams to enhance decision-making processes based on curated intelligence

  • Support the execution of the continuous monitoring risk and control program to mitigate multiple types (e.g. Cyber, Operational, Financial) of risk.

  • Assist in the identification, evaluation, and management of operational and information technology related risk activities in accordance with key regulations, IT standards, and the JPMC enterprise framework.

  • Develop and maintain reporting on TPCM KPIs as well as specific operational risk events and the implications on the firm's overall control environment

  • Respond to recurring and ad-hoc queries on supplier risk by various stakeholders across CTPO, GSS, and the firm

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a operations or analysis function including but not limited to threat intelligence, hunting, malware analysis, forensics, or incident response with financial services experience preferred

  • Understands and can demonstrate knowledge of IT controls, risk management, compliance practices, IT standards and Financial Services regulations

  • Ability to understand complex technical systems and the business processes they support and synthesize the corresponding risks and controls and recommend adjustments if required.

  • Adept at developing relationships with senior business executives with a reputation for partnering across organization lines to mitigate risks

  • Highly disciplined, able to work with limited supervision and make independent decisions

  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency
