Carrington Senior Collateral Trade, Analyst in Plano, Texas

The Senior Collateral Trade Analyst will be responsible for the review and analysis of large datasets and risk analytics to support the monthly re-pool (securitization) of single-family loans. Serves as key point of contact for management, investor, custodians, and vendors. Monitors team activity to accurately report movement and status of trades. Works closely with Capital Markets to provide precise and accurate reporting on all facets of unit activity. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and all US states and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $25.00- $32.00 an hour. This IS NOT a remote from home position.

What you'll do:

  • Work in conjunction with Carrington Capital Markets to provide detailed investor reports, determine loan eligibility, and data validation.

  • Serve as a key monthly trade content expert for Investors, Custodians, and affiliates.

  • Ensure the reconciliation and validation of all third party expenses related to due diligence.

  • Perform daily data analysis to ensure the validity of pool securitization.

  • Generate, manage, and maintain required daily, weekly and monthly status reporting of collateral file movement.

  • Analyze borrower credit reports to ensure loans meet seasoning requirements in accordance with GNMA pooling criteria.

  • Provides risk analytics and position attribution to support MSR hedging.

  • Conduct data querying, manipulation, transformation, and analysis of large datasets.

  • Act as point of contact and escalation for document transaction resolution.

  • Prepare collateral related documentation, reporting and tracking.

  • Resolve and correct missing, incorrect, unexpected, unrecorded, illegible, damaged, or otherwise unusable documents required in a mortgage collateral file.

  • Ensure service standards, policies, procedures and are adhered to and client needs are met.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience.

  • Four (4) to Six (6) years of mortgage collateral document experience

  • Experience in capital markets, secondary marketing or investor reporting.

  • Knowledge of mortgage industry terminology
