Senior Staff PMIC System Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Systems Architect to join our Power Attach PMIC Systems Engineering team to own and define next generation PMIC products.
Our division’s mission is to create PMIC products which complement Renesas’s offering of MCUs, MPUs and SOCs in both Automotive and Industrial areas. Renesas is a leading electronics supplier globally, and this is a rare opportunity to directly influence the future products which will be offered to our customers. In a worldwide team and you will work closely with engineers based in India, Japan, Europe and US.
This role specifically focuses on PMIC products for Automotive applications, complementing Renesas SoC products and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define PMIC product family roadmap for SoC applications.
Work with customers and internal teams to understand SoC systems and translate into PMIC requirements.
Understand system level use cases and requirements, including safety requirements.
Drive system modelling requirements.
Work with Product Architects to define PMIC specifications for each product.
Support customers with design-in activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Masters of Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
7 to 10 years plus of experience in PMIC systems.
Strong knowledge of PMICs and embedded systems is a Must.
Applications or Systems background desirable.
Travel will be required 20%.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Desire and drive to interact with customers and Renesas internal teams.
Product family ownership mentality.
Independent decision maker.
