Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Cash Application Specialist in the insurance industry, located in Plantation, Florida. The role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, resolving customer inquiries, and monitoring customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure data accuracy

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, particularly pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to manage and analyze data

• Execute B2B collections as part of the account management process

• Perform data entry tasks and maintain documentation for reference and record-keeping

• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure balance accuracy

• Oversee cash applications and collections as part of the financial operations

• Undertake manual processes as part of a larger system conversion project. Requirements • Proficiency in Cash Applications

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with B2B collections

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks quickly and accurately

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Pivot Table usage

• Familiarity with VLOOKUP function in Excel

• Ability to work in the insurance industry

• Previous experience as a Cash Application Specialist is preferred

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
