Position Specific Description
Strong candidate identified . This role will collaborate with a team of budget analysts who are responsible for performing budget activities on a day-to-day basis, assisting IT project budget owners and leaders with forecasting, verifying that correct transactions have posted to the budget, researching and correcting any errors, and performing spend analysis. Key responsibilities include facilitating month-end close, completion of the forecast, and creation of future year budgets by determined deadlines. This role requires comfort with multi-tasking and an understanding how multiple pieces fit together and impact end-results. The ideal candidate will be passionate about continuous improvement and will provide input to drive process enhancements throughout budget and finance operations.

Ability to work both independently and collaborate within a team
Financial and accounting knowledge (debits, credit, accruals, forecasts, etc.)
Excellent Excel skills
Produce quality work product involving numbers – high attention to detail
Critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
Highly organized
Functions well in a high-intensity, constantly changing environment
Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Additional preferred skills:
Experience in SAP reporting (BOBJ, BPC)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
