Kansas Employer Farm worker/Laborer in Platte, South Dakota

May operate hand and power tools of all types: Air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare site, sig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Workers will build agriculture buildings such as grain elevators and pole barns. Employees will be traveling to the jobsites throughout the area of intended employment. Due to the sparsely populated nature of Kansas this type of travel is customary. Workers will only build agriculture buildings on a farm for a farmer, which is considered secondary agriculture and meets the requirements for H-2A workers. The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers may prepare their own meals. Employer will provide (on a voluntary basis) transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals.
Employer will provide daily transportation between housing provided or secured by the employer and the employer\'s place of employment at no cost to the worker. Please see Work Term 9 of 12 for more detailed Transportation Plan.
The mode of transportation utilized will be provided from the companys fleet of
four (4) passenger cars, each of with seating capacity for five (5) persons and five
(5) passenger trucks, each with seating capacity for five (5) persons.
