Spectrum Plastics Master Project Manager in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
JOB PURPOSE:
The Project Manager position is responsible for three primary functions in the customer relationship. First the position is responsible for management of existing customer projects and relationships with the manufacturing facility. Second, this position supports the business development function through the quoting process. Third, lead and manage new projects from the award to production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Functions as leader for major programs involving all phases of product design and development, leading project team through the execution of project activities
Follows the product development process to ensure all requirements are met and that the product meets customer requirements.
Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
Plans and drives execution of project activities through the applicable project phases to the final phase of commercial release for ongoing production
Able to navigate new products through product requirements, design inputs, design outputs, and verification/validation activities.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Coordinates project activities for commercial release of expansive product lines and corresponding manufacturing processes while meeting expectations for sustainable, efficient, repeatable, and reproducible manufacturing operations
Supports request for quotes, specifically complex products that vary greatly from predicates
Manages scope and project financials. Follow up with customers to ensure PO coverage as agreed upon and to cover all project scope.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Required:
Applicable Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
3+years experience with project management, preferably in an engineering environment.
Proficient in commonly-used concepts, and processes within new product design and development
Experience in managing financial metrics for major programs, such as budget accountability and revenue recognition
Demonstrated history to problem solve, identify errors and deficiencies and perform root cause analysis
Ability to work in a virtual environment/team
Excellent organizational skills; ability to work with ambiguity
Efficient professional communications skills (internal and external)
Self starter, proactive, highly engaged, prompt to communicate, ready to follow up, resolve, and escalate as needed
Influential leadership skills – leads others by example and operates well in a matrix environment
Expertise with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
Ability to comprehend and comply with company safety and quality standards
Ability to provide oral and written instructions to others
Preferred:
Applicable Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in Engineering
PMP Certified
Experience in medical device manufacturing including design/development, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and product transition to production.
Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Experience with program management & financial analysis tools
Experience conducting international business and cross-cultural communication
Experience with contracts management
Excellent communication skills, oral and written (i.e. writing, spelling, grammar, and punctuation)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works with minimal supervision from manager . Requires light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities.
