Job Title: Split Shift Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Split Shift Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment, as well as perform general building maintenance. The role involves repairing and maintaining plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, designing and managing preventative maintenance programs, and installing new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance.
Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Design, implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment.
Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators.
Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills
Excellent mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics.
Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
Ability to read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus.
Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus.
Self-starter with a willingness to perform other related duties as required.
Ability to work overtime as required.
High school diploma or GED.
Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, and/or other areas is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean but not climate controlled. We have openings for 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday) and a split weekend shift (11am - 9pm, Thursday - Sunday). The 1st shift position involves working in a recently added clean room area, requiring additional PPE and gowning up. Technicians must be comfortable with these requirements.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00
