Description

We are seeking an Accounting Manager Consultant for our team based in Pleasanton, California. This role involves managing full-cycle general ledger operations in a hands-on manner, including month-end close and journal entries. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full-cycle general ledger operations.

• Ensure detailed and accurate record-keeping.

• Leverage experience with partnerships to enhance business operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 for various accounting functions.

• Use advanced Excel skills to merge multiple data sources into a single file.

• Perform month-end close procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

• Prepare and record detailed journal entries.

• Resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.

• Continually improve and streamline accounting processes and systems.

Requirements • Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central

• Understanding of journal entries and general journal

• Experience with month-end close procedures

• Ability to develop and maintain business partnerships

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation

• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
