Discover Impactful Work:

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a team in the development of instruments and consumables for DNA Sequencing and fragment analysis by Capillary Electrophoresis.

A day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with software and algorithm partners, providing data and feedback to improve algorithm development, impacting the accuracy and efficiency of our systems.

  • Create a supportive and inventive work environment that encourages teamwork and ongoing development, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovative solutions.

  • Establish partnerships with the Human Identification team to address specific product development needs.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to vital documentation, ensuring products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

  • Effectively manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget allocation, to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to facilitate team members' professional growth, empowering them to excel in their roles.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally in long-term planning and contribute to overall business goals.

Keys to success:

  • Educational background in mechanical, electrical, optical engineering, or bioengineering.

  • Proven success leading engineering teams in product development.

  • Expertise in fluidics and systems design.

  • Extensive understanding of capillary electrophoresis principles and techniques.

  • Demonstrated success managing R&D projects, including product development and commercialization.

  • Effective communication and collaboration with software and algorithm partners.

  • Familiarity with Human Identification field and its specific requirements.

  • Effective project management, prioritization, timeline management, and resource allocation.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $163,100.00–$230,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
