The salary range for this role is:\$27.60 - \$34.60 Responsibilities: The Maintenance person in this position serves also as a Crew leader for the production area they are in during the Production Season. This position is responsible to safely maintain, adjust, and operate various pieces of production equipment for Green-bean/Root Crop Receiving. Trouble-shooting and repairing equipment failures, training, and overseeing employees in order to ensure production, quality, and safety goals are met. This position also assists in developing procedures in support of training and production operations. Further, this position works with other plant personnel in a team environment and complies with company policy, regulatory and company standards. Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities include: Ensure product safety through enforcement of company policy and regulatory standards. Enforce company quality standards. Properly segregate restricted or held product Safely perform a variety of skilled maintenance work and troubleshooting to maintain upkeep on the various pieces of production and labeling equipment Monitor production flow and equipment operation to maintain production goals Direct, train, and lead employees; including seasonal employees during the production season Operate various pieces of production and labeling equipment Perform other assigned duties requested by the supervisor Maintain housekeeping on a continuous basis within the department Assist with job placement of employees Perform administration duties Other duties as assigned.
