JOB SUMMARY :

Possess the ability to set up and operate all machines and production jobs as required to produce high quality parts.  Give direction to operators and trainees.  Must effectively communicate between departments or personnel for prompt problem resolution. Must also be self motivated and proactive in dealing with personnel and manufacturing issues.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Efficiently set up CNC machines, ensuring proper calibration and alignment for optimal performance.
• Select appropriate tooling based on job requirements and install tools in machines.
• Verify CNC programs to ensure accuracy and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the set up process.
• Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions or programming errors to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Maintain appropriate documentation of setups, tool changes, and adjustments made during the production process.
• Maintain cleanliness, good housekeeping, of area/cells and hold employees accountable for these tasks.
• Support Compliance with Skyway Precision, Inc.'s Quality policies and procedures (IATF16949 & ISO 14001).
• Follow general safety rules, procedures and regulations.

• Perform Special Assignments as delegated.
