Benefits Administrators are a vital part of any HR team, as they are responsible for makign sure that our employees and business partners can access their benefits and get answers to their pressing questions. The role requires strong organizational skills coupled with a customer service mindset. Typically, the Benefits Administrator will administer and maintain company benefit programs. In addition, they function as a liaison between vendors and employees and advise employees on eligibility, coverage, and other benefit matters. Location: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN What you will do: Partner closely with HR Representatives on all related cases/claims and will assist in managing STD/LTD programs and vendor relationships Maintain knowledge of the various benefits programs throughout the company and is aware of differing benefits packages by locations and employee groups Provide technical knowledge of how the various benefits plans are structured, and will answer more complex questions on benefit programs Administer benefit plans from enrollment to termination as needed which may include but not limited to: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term & Long Term Disability, Flex, Health Savings Accounts Assist in the new employee enrollment process and the annual Open Enrollment process including enrollment materials, mailings, employee meetings and presentations, and enrollment data entry Coordinate the implementation of wellness and health promotion programs for employees based on population's health needs Maintain, update, and deliver compliant plan documents and SPD's Produce, balance and troubleshoot monthly benefit reports for all locations. These reports may include medical, dental, life, FSA, disability, and 401(k) plans Work with location human resources to resolve any differences on the benefit reports and communicate any necessary adjustments Generate and make vendor payments utilizing benefit reports for all locations Handle qualified medical support orders Maintain vendor contact to investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations Provide vendors appropriate documentation for life, pension, and disability benefits claims Assist in preparing materials and in presenting benefit plan changes to employees Issue annual individual summary of benefits to employees Maintain employee benefit files and other record keeping Consolidate payroll data on a weekly basis and prepare the weekly wire of funds based on recordkeeper reconciliation of 401(k) Assist with annual welfare and retirement plan audit and annual government filings Assist with review and tracking of medical plan performance Administer retiree medical program Administer and maintains all pension processing for retirees, and all eligible terminated and deferred vested employees What's in it for you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: 2 Year Associate's Degree or above 2+ Years of Benefits Administration experience Equal Opportunity Employment: It is the policy of Daikin Applied to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, genetic information, marital status, membership or activity in a local commission, or any other characteristic protect d by federal, state or local law.
