Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

Set up and operate 3 and 4-axis Fanuc controlled mills, primarily Makinos and occasionally a Matsuura. Work with various types of stainless steel to produce nuclear components, maintaining tolerances as tight as +/- a tenth. Typically, each part involves 4 operations: 2 roughs and 2 finishes. Orders range from 50-150 parts. You may operate multiple machines simultaneously depending on the job requirements. Applicants must be comfortable with microscope work.

Hard Skills

• Experience with 3 and 4-axis Fanuc controlled mills

• Knowledge of Makinos and Matsuura machines

• Ability to maintain tight tolerances (+/- a tenth)

• Proficiency in working with different types of stainless steel

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to multitask

• Strong problem-solving skills

This is a fully on-site position in Plymouth, Minnesota.

The facility is clean and specializes in the manufacture of medical, nuclear, and aerospace components. The team has recently expanded with new members.
