Eaton’s EPG EAS Electrical Automation Solutions division is currently seeking a SAFe Scrum Master. This position offers a HYBRID work schedule at our Eaton Plymouth MN location.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $97499.97 - $142999.96 a year.

What you’ll do:

As a SAFe Scrum Master, you will lead multiple scrum teams in the development of our Yukon Endpoint Automation Platform. Additionally, you’ll be a key member of our scaled agile transformation in our Utility Software Solutions. Agile methodology and project management are key to these initiatives.

In this role:

  • Lead assigned scrum teams and assist the Project Manager towards delivery of objectives.

  • Deliver software programing increments using agile methodologies while having a very good understanding of the entire Product Development Life cycle.

  • Play a significant role in team interactions, removing impediments, finding ways to improve and optimize teamwork so the team can do their work more efficiently.

  • Carry out the scheduling of daily activities and facilitate the communication between different parties and facilitating scrum events (daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos and retrospectives) as needed.

  • Ensure sprint level deliverables are completed on-time with optimum velocity.

  • Effectively use metrics to plan, forecast, and communicate status. Ensure accuracy of agile metrics, holding team accountable for timely updates of pointing and status.

  • Mentor and coach team members on Agile Principles.

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • 5+ years of software industry experience in a delivery lead, QA lead, engineering, project management or similar role

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in full life cycle software development

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Plymouth, MN will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams working on enterprise software platforms

  • Ability to understand technical issues using strong analytical skills

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Solid understanding of Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence)

  • 3+ Experience using agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement

  • Project and/or scrum certification – PMP/CSM or equivalent
