TEKsystems Service Project Coordinator in Plymouth, Minnesota

Description:

Intereum is a leader in office space planning, design and installation. They are currently looking to make an addition to their service team. This group focuses on providing repairs and service to existing customers, they also support sales, installation, warehouse, vendors and clients. This is a position that will require strong administrative, data entry and customer service skills. We are looking for someone with a mechanical aptitude, understands how to use tools to repair office furniture.

The right candidate will be responsible for handling all warranty and non-warranty service for all vendors, and internal requests. Quotes and manages all chargeable repairs requiring service parts after punch list is complete, or warranties have expired. Supports day to day deliveries and one person install requests.

Responsibilities Include:

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT SERVICING

Provides professional customer interface and client relations throughout project

Maintains frequent contact with clients; providing information on order status, shipping information and installation schedule

Responsible for customer sign-offs and approvals for order processing

SERIVCE COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT

Researches repair solutions directly with customers and manufacturers

Prepares and sends a proposal to the customer for parts or labor that are not covered by the manufacturer

Places parts and labor orders directly with vendors via Core for warranty and non-warranty service requests

Keeps customers updated on the status of the repair – parts ordered, parts acknowledged, etc.

Schedules repair directly with customer upon acknowledgement

Closes out/turns in all completed work orders. Checks for completeness (date, initials of installers, contact phone number and e-mail address) and accuracy prior to forwarding to admin

Generates and processes invoices on a daily basis for vendor reimbursements.

Primary backup for the Service Desk Coordinator

MANUFACTURER WARANTY

Submits all warranty parts request orders to all manufacturers within 24 hours of receiving from the field

Submits all warranty labor reimbursement requests to all manufacturers following each vendors warranty process (specific contract pricing, pre-approval, etc.).

Keeps warranty requests organized per the status of the process – submitted, approved, acknowledged, etc.

BS/BA Degree

2+ years of work experience in customer support and coordination of services

or

AS Degree

4+ years of work experience in customer support and coordination of services.

Prefers experience with tools or repair of consumer products

*Must take General Typing and Excel 2013 Normal User tests on Kenexa
