Twin City Staffing is now hiring a tool room technician/polisher for a growing company in Plymouth, MN. Location: Plymouth, MN Hours: 6:50 am 3 pm, Monday Friday Wage: $18/hr Duties of the tool room technician: Store and retrieve production tools and accessories for machine operators Maintain inventory control of tools Prepare outgoing tools for production usage Inspect returned tools Polish and finish the surface of parts Deburr, sand, and hand-scrape polished parts Follow production work orders Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications Troubleshoot problems with tooling Requirements of the tool room technician: 1-2 years of experience in assembly, inspection, machine setup, or tool room operations Ability to read and understand blueprints and production schedules Working knowledge of hand tools, gauges, micrometers, calipers, and machine shop equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for the majority of the shift Comfortable working in conditions that may involve getting very dirty.
