Fleet Maintenance Technician

The Fleet Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel engines, trailers, lift gates, and related mechanical components in heavy vehicles and equipment. This role requires extensive knowledge of diesel engines, mechanical systems, trailers, lift gate operations, and various material handling equipment.

The Fleet Maintenance Managerreports to the Fleet Maintenance Manager. This is a non-exempt position.

Primary Job Responsibilities and Objectives:

Diagnose Engine and Mechanical Issues:Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in diesel engines, including engine, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Trailer and Lift Gate Maintenance:Inspect, maintain, and repair trailers and lift gates to ensure proper functionality and safe
