Job Title: Welder III

Job Description

Working under the direction of the Welding Lead, the Welder III completes projects with little or no supervision and performs a variety of welding processes using electric resistance, oxyacetylene, or plasma-arc torches. You will weld commonly used metals and alloys of various shapes, sizes, and thicknesses, selecting appropriate welding electrodes for specific welds to ensure penetration and fusion of base and filler metals. Your responsibilities include welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to blueprints, layouts, or work orders, and welding in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions. Additionally, you may assign work and provide guidance to other Welder staff as assigned, read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications, and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as TIG and MIG.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pomona, California.

Work Environment

Must be able to utilize correct body mechanics during performance of physical activity such as pushing/pulling, stooping, squatting, sitting, and lifting as applicable to the position. Heavy manufacturing environment, not climate controlled.
