Aerotek Industrial Electrician in Pompano Beach, Florida

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Electrician who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls. The successful candidate will also assist in building maintenance and machinery repairs. They will install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, adhering to electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other applicable specifications. The Electrician will connect power supply wires to machines and equipment and connect cables and wires between machines and equipment. They will diagnose malfunctioning equipment, such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures, and replace damaged or broken wires and cables, as well as faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.

Hard Skills

  • Industrial maintenance background with specialization in electrical

  • 120/480 volt experience

  • Electrical wiring

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Work Environment

Our facility in Pompano Beach has over 278,000 square feet of space. The production floor is partially air-conditioned, with air conditioning available near the wicks area. Some areas do not have air conditioning. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, and candidates must have Steel Toe Boots (not provided). We will provide Safety Glasses, Sleeves, and Gloves. We are hiring for the shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
