We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. This is a remote opportunity with the expectation of monthly travel to our different facilities. Excellent benefits package, including 401k Company Match and Profit Sharing!

Facilities Manager responsibilities to include

  • Plans, controls, and directs real estate activities such as site location and acquisition, right-of-way negotiation, building and land acquisition and disposition, space leasing, property management, and maintenance of properties.

  • Manages space leasing for 15+ facilities – including lease negotiation, site relocation, appropriation request process (owner of), and managing approval timelines in conjunction with parent company and other stakeholders.

  • Direct contact for building insurance activities (disaster recovery, internal audit, site walk-through management, etc.)

  • General building management (coordinate facilities repair/improvement investments over $5k)

  • Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities.

  • Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs. Owns and manages the facility projects to completion.

  • Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.

  • Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources.

  • Results may depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization where formal authority is not held.

  • Progression within the role reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities.

  • Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

  • Cross-functionally manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex support, production, or operations team(s).

  • Has accountability for the performance and results of each project team.

  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.

  • Decisions and problem solving are guided by policies, procedures, and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager.

  • Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.

Experience

  • An ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of directly relevant experiences.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify areas of improvement

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, and customers

  • Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices
