Trinity Health RN Clinical Leader - Pediatric Infusion Center in Pontiac, Michigan

Description:

Accountability Objectives:

The Clinical Leader administers injections, IV hydration, blood products, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other infusion therapies related to supportive care for this patient population. The CL supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family; assesses the needs of the patients undergoing infusion therapy treatment; plans, implements, and evaluated patient care; teaches patients and caregivers; and orients colleagues and peers.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure / Certification Required:

  • Active license to practice nursing in the State of Michigan

  • Current PALS Certification

  • 5 years (in the last 7 years) Peds experience

  • 1 year ED, or ICU experience (in last 3 years)

  • APHON Chemo/Bio Provider certification required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for all inpatient bedside care areas, and inpatient and outpatient surgical services required within 45 days from date of hire or transfer.

Experience Required

  • Two years experience as a leader in Pediatric Infusion Center.
