We are looking for a Maintenance Cost Specialist to join our Petrochemicals (CP) team in Port Arthur, TX.

The maintenance cost specialist is a key role for our maintenance organization that is responsible for our maintenance cost reporting. In this role, you will work with asset management to ensure we have an accurate annual budget as well as up to date forecast each month. You will also coach others throughout the team to drive improvement in work order categorization, recharge, and work cycles to ensure we have accurate and transparent maintenance spending. The ideal fit for this role has experience in PowerBI and other power platform tools to help us update and improve our cost reports and other digital tools for maintenance cost controlling.

As a Maintenance Cost Specialist (Port Arthur, TX), you create chemistry by...
Preparing cost reports with accuracy using standard and automatic processes providing transparency on recharge and allocations.
Leading budgeting and cost control efforts for the maintenance department to ensure proper categorization and transparency of maintenance spending.
Leading open commitment reporting and accruals for the maintenance department.
Overseeing work cycles by supporting the users to solve problems and ensure sustainable reduction of errors.
Creating and maintaining applications on the MS Power Platform (dashboards, flows, Apps) you will be able to coach and guide stakeholders (requisitioners, supervisors) on the best use of the systems and their functionalities.
Driving the automation of administrative tasks such as Purchase Requisitions (PRs), KPI reporting, cost reports, and etc.
If you have...
A Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical or financial field.
Experience in cost analysis and reporting.
Analytical and coaching skills.
Experience working with MS Power Platform (dashboards, flows, Apps).
Experience working with SAP and Microsoft office.
Additional experience with VBA, power platforms (Power Bi, App, Flow), and other computerized maintenance management systems is preferred.
