Job Summary: As an Assembler II at LogistiQ, A Division of LEWCO, you will be a part of our manufacturing operations team. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, be able to take and follow verbal and written direction and perform well in a teamwork environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Basic assembly of company products, including but not limited to framing conveyors and installing rollers, using general hand tools.
• Set bearings, pulleys, and motors on conveyor systems.
• Conveyor belt tracking.
• Follow work instructions, sketches, diagrams and blueprints to assemble company products.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

• None.

*Qualifications and Requirements: *

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Knowledge of and the ability to use and provide personal basic hand tools, including impact, screwdrivers, wrenches, torque wrenches, and tap & die sets, etc.
• Ability to be trained and certified on overhead cranes and lockout tagout.
• Ability to interpret sketches, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Wear the required PPE, including safety shoes and safety glasses.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Must have basic reading and writing skills in the English language.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic computer data entry skills, including but not limited to clocking on and off jobs in ERP system.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Successful completion of 60-day probationary period.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years mechanical experience preferred.
